OK. So, we have our pipe cleaner armature of our lizard wrapped in cheese cloth ready
to go, but now we need to get ready with the papier-m?ch?. We want to have a big surface
to work on, a large flat table. You want to do it in a place that can get messy, so a
kitchen floor, definitely not carpeting and we want to have a plastic table cloth on the
table. What we'll need are newspaper strips so you can either rip or cut newspaper into
about an inch to an inch and a half thick. That's usually the easiest for manipulating
the newspaper without it getting too soggy and falling apart on you. For younger kids
I like to cut it in half. It's a little bit easier to wrap, less to work with that way.
We also want to have our flour, our salt and our water ready along with a bucket and ready
to mix. We want to have some paper towels handy, because this can get really messy.
As long as you have your plastic down you should be good.
