STREET ART MUSEUM
ANATOLY AKUE: The festival in Salavat is coming to a close
I reckon that what we do really does kind of change society as a whole
It changes people's perspective, and shows them that not everything is so one-dimensional
Not everything is so tightly controlled
We were the first to bring this kind of art to Salavat and present it in this way
A way that is accessible, understandable and on a large scale
It was really cool to speak with lots of people... Anyway, let’s go!
PASHA PIXEL: I really like how everything was done
in different styles
It gets pretty scary painting when you’re so high up
It’s the only idea for a street art museum in Russia
I like it – it's great how this idea of a street art museum works
ALEXANDER ZHUNYOV: I thought it was great
This is a really clean, well-maintained city
And it has lots of murals dating back to Soviet times
We’ve just finished adding some contemporary style around Lyceum No. 1
Hi! I'm Natasha Floksy, and I'm the artist behind this work
Pasha Pixel and I painted it together. We got loads of great vibes and new skills from it
A big thanks to the Street Art Museum for such an awesome idea
They've come up with brilliant projects, and it's great to see so many unique styles in one place
Right now we’re sitting on the roof of Lyceum No. 1, and the work is all around us
ROMAN KREEMOS & YULIA YEFIMOVA: We’re about to fly home
We’ve just had two awesome weeks in Salavat
Yeah, in that time we were able to complete a massive 9-storey wall
The Street Art Museum is cool!
