Here I have a jacket that I created for a collection that I didn't end up using. And
you'll see right here, I wrote, more development. When I write it, I knew that I decided, this
wasn't exactly the final look. I wanted but it's something to work with. That I'm not
showing you, as being completed. So take your ideas and build on from there. I don't like
really the way, I had the front part of it. That was my whole focus. That needs to be
softened, I believe. But I chose to have it on a leaning croquis. Where it looks like,
she's been blown over in the wind. And that was part of the whole aesthetic. You've got
to think about those things, too. Your background, your back drop, your feelings, emotions. I
took the collar that would normally, be down. I stood it up, as you would on a windy day,
a rainy day. And then, instead of just having a normal front button closure. I chose to
have a off scene, off center closure, with double buttons, down it. And then, I added
pockets. But I don't think I would. If I was re-doing it, I wouldn't add the pockets. And
I would soften this. But I would keep the rest of the details, the same. Maybe you'll
not have the sleeves so belled. But definitely the collar. Think about ways when you're drawing
stuff, that you can change them. If a collar's down, think it would rain, was upside down.
With the collar up. Try to draw it, like that. It will create so many style possibilities
for you. It's just awesome. It's amazing when you realize it.
