>> DEBBIE: How are you today?
>> KRISTY: I'm good.
>> DEBBIE: I'm Debbie. I'm going to be your technician today and I see you are here for
a tattoo removal consult.
>> KRISTY: Yes
>> DEBBIE: Okay so could you tell me why you did pick Radiance?
>> KRISTY: Certainly. Years ago I got a class-less tattoo and I have regretted it ever since.
>> DEBBIE: Okay
>> KRISTY: So I have been doing a lot of research on certain lasers and the best ones and I
came across New Radiance.
>> KRISTY: From what my research shows, this laser is one of the best and New Radiance
is the only one in South Florida that has it.
>> DEBBIE: Good I'm glad to hear that because we do have one of the best lasers for tattoo
removal and we can do all colors. Don't feel embarrassed. A lot of people have gotten tattoos
in the past and they are so sorry but now there is a great way to get rid of it. It
will entail some visits on your part like every four to six weeks. It can take anywhere
from four to twelve treatments depending on how deeply implanted the pigment is into the
dermis. So this was a professional tattoo when it was done?
>> KRISTY: Yeah
>> DEBBIE: Okay well what we are going to do is we're going to go ahead and topically
numb you. We're going to go over consent forms. We'll take a photo so we can keep track of
the progress. Also what we're going to do is go over the after care instructions which
will be very important. So we're going to go ahead and topically numb it and then we're
As we talked about this before for the removal of the tattoo I think we're going to get a
pretty good result because of the color. The laser really likes that dark blue color. What's
going to happen is when I go over this, it's actually going to fragment the ink on the
inside, and your own body's immune system is actually going to carry away the pigment.
Okay?
So we're going to do a treatment today. My endpoint is I want it to look a little whitish
as I am going over it. You're going to have some residual, like a pinch-y burn-y feel
afterwards, okay? You're just going to treat it very kindly. If you get any blisters or
anything, we're going to have you use an antibiotic ointment and I am going to want you to keep
it dry, okay? So what we're going to do is I am going to actually, now that we've numbed
it for about a good half hour, we're going to blow cold air on it while we're doing it
to make it a very comfortable procedure for you. Okay?
>> KRISTY: Okay.
>> DEBBIE: Do you have any other questions?
>> KRISTY: No, I am ready.
>> DEBBIE: Okay. We're going to go!
Here we go.
[snapping sounds]
Feeling anything?
>> KRISTY: Nope.
>> DEBBIE: Okay, we're going to go a little bit higher.
[beeping sound] Here we go.
[Snapping, suction sound] How you doing?
>> KRISTY: I am doing fine.
>> KRISTY: Doing fine.
>> DEBBIE: There we go. We're all done.
