How can I contact Facebook directly?
Post on your wall how you violated their major tenets like announcing how you're 10 with
a three year old account or hacking people all the time. Their legal team will contact
you.
But I'm not doing either of those things, and I don't want to get in trouble.
If you create a Tea Party group on Facebook, their admin will probably notice you and remove
it under their hate speech rules, though they probably won't contact you directly.
So much for freedom of speech. I heard how they were taking down traditional marriage
sites because LBGTA were offended.
Facebook is a private company, so they don't have to guarantee freedom of speech. Which
is why if you badmouth them online, they might take down your profile, too.
I don't want my profile taken down. I want to contact them directly.
Then it depends on why you want to contact them. If there is a problem with your account
like it has been hacked, simply go to the Help Center.
I know. You're supposed to click on the Report an Issue icon and fill out the report.
Unfortunately, the reports let people report your posts as hate speech if you don't toe
a PC line, and people you don't like can report a debate as bullying.
They don't respond to anything I send via the "Give Us Feedback" page.
Try reporting the issues on the Facebook forums on the help page. If enough other people respond
or like it, Facebook support should get involved.
Don't they have a phone number?
Their help line is supposedly 650-543-4800, but that just tells you to go online.
That's like the phone company saying I have to visit their website to put in a ticket
when my DSL is down. Utterly useless.
Facebook is free unless you are an advertiser. Sign up for a paid service, and their customer
service will come running to help you.
