Please find this product at http://absupply.net/ This video is to bring you a closer look at
the Ives FS446 Door Stop and Manual Holder. Here's what it looks like in the US 10B Oil
Rubbed Bronze finish. So first and foremost, it's a door stop. Rubber tip, okay. 2-7/16"
in height, from the base to center line of the stop. There's a link below this video
to the template, so I won't be linger all of the dimensions here. You're base is 2-1/2"
diameter. Okay, the overall length of the hook is 2-3/8", not the overall length, but
from the centerline to the center line is 2-3/8". Okay, so you know the important part
is you have 2-7/16" from the bottom of the base to the center line and you know that
this can handle a little taller than average undercut if was necessary. The FS446 very
importantly is specifically for a masonry type of concrete style installation in the
floor because it's packaged with an expansion bolt, or sleeve anchor you might call it.
You will drill a hole in the base into the floor. It is a, it doesn't indicate what size
the expansion bolt is. It's a 3/8" bolt, you will want your hole to be about 1/2". So this
will thread into the base, get that started here. Once you get that started into the hole,
you insert it. Obviously, you are going to turn the body. As you do that it's going to
draw this flared out edge into this sleeve which will expand out and anchor itself into
the concrete quite securely I might add speaking from experience. Then you will have one hole
drilled into the base for a screw and then a lead expansion shield and that's basically
going to keep it from spinning, so that's going to be the installation on this. Available
in several different finishes, comes obviously with the plate for the door, so your holder
is going to look like that. And then of course, two screws for holding the plate on to the
door, like an oval head #8 screw dimension 1 inch maybe. #8 x1", it's listed on the template.
Variations on this obviously are types that have a different mounting with holes drilled
into the base for wood mounting, obviously if I have not already mentioned several different
colors this is available in. And then also different styles, manual holders, you can
also get. Ives makes a line of automatic holders as well. Very heave piece of architectural
metal, should be bronze this would be made of. If you have any questions on the Ives
F446 Floor Stop Manual Holder or any other Ives product, please feel free to reach out
to us. Something like this is going to be used in an application, a heavy duty application
where you're going to see a significant amount of use on the door, a floor is such that you've
gotta have a more substantial door stop. In addition to that a manual holder possibly
a loading dock for a tenant, build out sort of application in a mall you might see this
on the back door, even at a point on a stockroom door. When you've got this on the finished
side of the wall so that could be an application for something that would be both heavy duty
and decorative in terms of the finish, so there you go. Again, any questions on the
