It goes against the norm. It's a new type of fashion design you've never seen before.
Creating the new from the old... Meet RE;Code design.
We end up with four billion won worth of clothing inventory every year.
Unwanted by customers... The items never made it to the cash register.
And so the search for a sustainable solution begins.
It is designer Park Seon-ju's job to recycle these materials to create a whole new outfit.
She chooses her choice of leftover inventory, she tears them apart, then redesigns a very
unique piece of clothing.
When it comes to designing outfits, sketching is the first step before you can experiment
with materials.
However, RE;Code goes against this tradition.
RE;Code boasts eco-friendly products, topped
with outfits that strongly reflect on the designers' convictions.
It's a one-of-a-kind outfit that you can't find anywhere else.
Turning trash into treasure!
Fashion is evolving and becoming more eco-friendly.
It’s all about RE;CODE-ing the way of life.
