Hi guys, welcome to Haniela's. Today we are going to make some St. Patrick's Day Cookies.
Kiss me, I'm Irish.
To make the cookies, bake the cookies
using lips cookie cutter cut out shapes.
Let the cookies cool completely.
Make royal icing and start by outlining and flooding your cookies with white royal icing
15 second consistency.
While your cookies are drying you can make the stencil
Here as you see I printed image from the computer.
I adjusted the size to the size of my cookie cutter and then I traced it onto a thicker paper.
Now you can cut it out using exacto knife
or you can start with exacto knife and finish with scissors.
Here I've already started, as you see
I have it all set up. I put several magnets to match the thickness of my cookie,
so the stencil sits snuggly on the top of the cookie
and it doesn't move when I'm stenciling.
I'm gonna be using airbrush to stencil.
If you don't have an airbrush you can also use edible mist spray.
As you see I'm trying to avoid over spraying center area.
I'm spraying more around the edges.
Here is the finished cookie. Now you can use this also for Valentine's day.
For St. Patrick's Day I wanted to add a shamrock.
I'm using royal icing
anything form 15 to 20 second to make the shamrock.
And that's how you make pretty " Kiss Me, I'm Irish" cookies. I hope you like this tutorial.
Don't forget to give it thumbs up!
And I'll see you next time. Thanks for watching.
