This is a quick introduction to my style of dressmaking pattern
This is the pattern downloaded from my Pattern's Page
The layout is for International A4 Paper size
If you are in the US you probably want to choose the Letter size
Most importantly, you must check that your printer is printing to scale
You want your pattern to be accurate
Print just this page, page 2 to start with and measure the squares
The whole page must measure accurately in both directions
Make sure you set your scale for printing to a hundred percent
to no scaling or to actual size
It's unusual but some printers misbehave
in which case, check your printer's manual
and make sure your driver software is up to date
Different browsers use different PDF readers also
Let me know if you need help
A 1/16" or 2mm is about the maximum tolerance over this single page
This page reminds you that my patterns are net patterns
which means you add seam allowance as you cut out
The black line represent the stitching line and you add 5/8" seam allowance
Notches are for matching seams. Just snip into the seam allowance
This page shows you all the pieces necessary to make your garment
The following pages form the pattern when taped together
For this pattern the main garment pieces are white
lining pieces are shaded and interfacing is yellow
The pages are so easy to tape up
Just butt them together following the page numbering
My patterns are easier than any other you will find online
