Hi everyone, I’m Doug Downey on behalf of Expert Village, I’m here today to show you
how to digitally print vinyl banners. For this print that I’m doing here, it’s just
starting up. What I did is I created a background and I went onto the printer and got my media
width which is thirty and one-half inches. In my design, I make my design a thirty and
a half inch banner by, by ten feet. So this one, we’re just doing a simple knock-up
banner so you have to make sure that you start in the middle of these two grommets. This
is where I started so you can see there is no print at the first little bit, so it’s
starting the print right at the start now. And it will go through and it should end up
ten feet from this point, that’s why you have to export the background which is one
hundred-twenty inches by the thirty and a half inches to make sure that you’re centered
on your banner. Your text is centered on your banner and centered lengthwise and then that
way you’ll have a complete banner. All you really have to do is just trim these; trim
between these two grommets and ten feet down trim between those two grommets and then you’ve
got yourself a completed banner ready to go outside in the outdoors.
