Hi, Steve Counts here, President of DPI Printing and Mailing. And today I want to talk with
you about how to find a good printing company in Springfield, Missouri.
Now you're probably saying, "Hey, wait a minute! How can I trust you to help me? Won't you
just tell me that your company's the best?"
Well I may mention it a time or two, but truthfully, not necessarily.
Most of the time, the reason people search online, or call us, or put an estimate in,
is because they have a specific need.
It falls into about 3 categories:
One category is events. Many people have an event coming up -- a sale, a new employee,
a new location, so they need something printed for that.
Or maybe it's something personal like a wedding or graduation.
There are some printers that are really suited for events.
Events are usually: small quantities, they have a tight deadline so you need somebody
that's fairly fast, and somebody that's fairly flexible and has some pretty good ideas.
Now lets go to the second category. What about the things that you need almost all the time?
Ongoing. Larger quantities.
There are printers that are better suited for that.
Things like: letterheads, stationery, maybe a brochure that you don't change that much
that tells your company story.
There are printers out there that are really setup for the bigger runs.
And then number three, is other.
And that would be things that might not fit in the other two categories.
You say, "Well what could that be"? Well, it could be a book, a church directory, maybe
employee manuals. Something that you don't do everyday, something that's not really necessarily
tied to an event, but you still need to get it printed.
So my advice is this: when you're searching online or when you call a printing company,
be very specific, tell them exactly what you need.
Not all printing companies are the same. Their equipment is not all the same. So what you
need to have printed has a lot to do with the right company.
Lastly, there's some other questions that you might want to look for or search about:
Does the company have testimonials that you can review?
Does the company give you a money back guarantee?
Does the person you talk to seem responsive, are they interested?
Do they follow up with your request? That's just good for any company you're talking to.
And then last of all, can you place orders online or can you only do business with them
during their normal office hours?
I hope those things help you. I have a lot more detail on a blog that I have written.
And that can be found in the description for this video.
Take care, and happy hunting for that Springfield, Missouri printing company.
