It was the mid morning of Christmas - who could want more?
Our little angels just received, all they had wished for,
Now the spirit of giving was in full flow,
The passion of Christmas, swelling up from below,
They cradled their blessings, without a care for themselves,
All snuggled up, just like good little elves,
The glory shone upon them,
in heaven the bells were ringing,
And with true love and brotherhood,
their hearts rejoiced in singing,
They shared the magic, with not a fret or frown,
Laughter and joy fills the air, and goodwill all around,
Our story comes now to a close, in age-old festive fun,
There’s only one thing left to say,
Merry Christmas everyone!
