While we're waiting for our paint to dry, I'm going to cut the tongue. I have a piece
of red ribbon here, cross grain ribbon and if you fold it in half like this and just
cut at an angle, we'll get a nice forked tongue and then take a bit of craft glue and we'll
just glue that down right here. Now with the dark green, I'm just going to put a tiny dot
in the center of each white dot and you put it on a little thick just put, just sort of
let it touch the white paint just so you have little bit of a dot there and then again here
and these little things are easy to do, but they add just the nice detail that that makes
it look like you really worked hard. Now wash your brush and we'll put the black of the
eyes and now we're going to outline everything with the black. You want to use a really thin
fine tip paint brush like this and then just carefully outline all of our painting with
the black and it just brings out the details, it gives it a nice definition. You could also
use a black permanent marker if you feel you're not steady enough to do the outlining but
it doesn't really require that much skill do this outlining and you see the difference
it makes when you outline. We'll outline the teeth just by making little "V's" all along
the white that we've already done and don't worry about painting over the white
and continue outlining around the eyes and around the the back and around all the teeth.
