This video shows you how to upgrade and replace a memory card.
Your replacement memory card may not look exactly like the original one.
That's OK.
If you received it from HP it will still work with your computer.
If you purchased it on your own, make certain that the memory card meets the
specifications.
Go to HP.com/Support to find the specifications for your
computer.
It should take you about 10 to 15 minutes to perform this task.
The only tool you'll need is a flat-head screwdriver.
A few words of caution before we start.
Never open the cover when the computer is on or plugged in.
Make certain it's turned off and unplugged.
Static electricity can damage the computer's electronic components.
Be sure to touch the metal cage before touching any internal parts or
components.
Avoid touching sharp edges inside the computer.

OK. Let's get started.
First, remove any media such as a DVD or memory card from the computer.
Next, turn off the computer and unplug the power cord.
Disconnect any attached advices such as a mouse, keyboard, or printer.
Lay the computer down on a flat surface covered with a soft cloth to protect the
screen from scratches or other damage.
Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the back cover slot
to gently pry it off.
Slide off the cover on the right side in the direction indicated by the arrow.
If you need to replace both memory cards
you must remove the top one first.
To release the card press outwards on the retaining clips at the left and
right sides of the memory card.
Be sure to hold the memory card by its edges and remove it from the compartment.
Follow the same steps if you're also replacing the lower memory card.
If you're replacing both memory cards. you will need to insert the lower one
first.
Position the new memory card so the notch on the edge of the card faces
forward and matches the position of the divider and the slot.
Be sure to hold the card by its edges and slide it all the way into the slot.
Make sure that the card is pressed all the way into the socket.
Then gently push down to snap the card into place.
Verify that the retaining clips are locked into place.
Replace the side cover.
Then the back cover.
Stand the computer upright,
plug in the power cord,
and reconnect the other cables and devices.
Your HP Pavilion All-in-One PC is now ready for use.
