By drinking some very fine wines for a very long time of course...
Wines of the 40's, that we drank at the beginning of the 70's were incredible,
and that still are, but also wines from my birth year, 1952-53,
are still, for some châteaux, extraordinary wines.
It's a special memory,
it was at the beginning of the eighties,
I was leaving Alain Vauthier from Château Auson with a small Renault,
and I took the wrong road.
I had a bottle of Ausone 1962 between my legs,
it had been open and I had to bring it back to the hotel where I was staying,
and I found myself on Ausone, on Ausone's slope with my car,
on a road in the vineyard that went straight to the road.
At that time, there wasn't the wall, etc.
And I didn't know if my car was going to flip or not, how I was going to finish,
and finally, 5 meters from the beginning of the road,
there was a path, a small road that allowed me to come back up elsewhere.
I tought I was on the Paris-Dakar during 20-25 minutes, with my bottle,
and telling myself, what will they think if I crash.
A pet, I would say a beautiful loyal dog.
