In this clip we're going to learn how to study for a math test. Now look let's get real,
the night before the test you shouldn't have to study anything. You should know this stuff
right before the test okay. Remember those kids that always used to get As and they said
they only studied for five minutes? They were probably right. Do you know why? Because they
studied throughout the whole period before the test. They studied two, three weeks before
the test. Number one, the only way to study for a math test is to practice problems. When
you can do five problems in a row of each particular kind of problem then you know you
will have mastered this skill. Okay? Review. You must do your homework every day. Now let's
say we didn't learn anything new today so I don't have to practice math. That doesn't
work. You have to practice every day even if your teacher did not give you math homework.
That's the difference between the students that get As and the students that get Cs.
If you're happy with being a C no problem, but if you want to get good grades - like
most of us do - you need to review the problems and do the homework every single day and you
must practice. There are no magic formulas.
