My name is Jacqueline Bush and I'm an editorial in celebrity hairstyles. My clientele has
included Faith Hill, Mark Ruffalo, Terrance Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jane Krakowski. I
want to be able to show you that hair isn't as intimidating or as hard as you think it
is and I want you be able to have fun with it and do what your vision is with your hair
So you take this little section...and because it's a smaller section, actually it'a a thinner
section. The hair is always thinner up here than it is back here. So we'rre gonna take
that section..silk it through and just starting..I'm just starting where her bangs start...and
go all the way through. And just let that be. So now you can see that the hair's hanging
a little bit, so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take the iron and I'm just gonna curl
it back...a little more. So now we have the curl. Before we brush it out, because that
is what we're gonna do next, we're gonna spray it. Just a little hair spray...just gonna
hold everything in place. Then I'm gonna take my Mason-Pearson brush and I'm gonna put a
little bit of hairspray onthe brush just to make sure that when we comb through it everthing's
gonna stay together cause you know the Kardashians like their hair very smooth, very neat. So
we're just gonna brush this out. And now what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna give it just a little
bit more shine and put about a fingertip worth of product.. a fingertips worth of shine pomade.
I'm just gonna stroke it through and then I'm going to take my teasing comb. The teasing
comb is the rattail comb with the serrated edges, and I'm just gonna give the very tip
of her crown just a little buff. I'm just separating this..not all the way.. just a
little bit. Get a little bit of a bump underneath. Basically you tease right at the crown. I'm
gonna smooth it a little bit on top, just very lightly. I don't wanna brush out all
that teasing. Now if your hair ends up not curly enough for you, what you can do is you
can just take a couple of smaller sections and add a little bit more of a wave. When
I say smaller sections, what I mean is I usually like to take.. you know... a few random pieces,
maybe about a half inch on top. and just run my iron through them...so that I get a little
extra and perhaps a couple littel sections on the bottom underneath the hair. And now
I'm just smoothing with my fingers. I'm being very careful not to touch the curl too much.
And that's how you get hair like Kim Kardashian.
