The dream of a place dedicated to Swedish popular music,
it has been there for a long time,
as has the dream of a place dedicated to ABBA.
It has been a complex project,
as it will be a building
where about one hundred years of Swedish popular music is collected.
To be able to be in on it from the beginning and build an advanced security solution
naturally makes it easier for us
to guarantee that the customer
gets the security and safety he or she expects.
In the case of ABBA, The Museum, and the Swedish Music Hall of Fame,
we were involved so early on
that we could work with all the pieces from the start,
with mechanical safeguards such as blinds and locks,
and the technical part, with alarms and access control,
and then the guarding independently,
and then towards the end be able to tie it all together
and achieve this unique, superb security solution.
We have been going at top speed, so we had more than 70 people
working on the actual construction site here.
Then there was Arcona, that was building higher up in the building,
and we had the restaurant and the hotel too.
So there was an awful lot going on at the same time.
Pretty early on, we decided to post security officers at the door
to check everyone running back and forth --
deliveries back and forth -- everything all at the same time.
In the event of a fire alarm, our alarm receiving center receives a fire alarm signal.
It runs in parallel to our alarm receiving center
at the same time that it goes to SOS and the public rescue service.
So in the event of fire, Securitas can guide firefighters and rescue personnel.
Also, if a vistor has an epileptic seizure or gets hurt
or collapses, this can be pinpointed and found
so that person gets guidance and aid as well.
This was one of the things that felt valuable.
The cameras aren't an insurance requirement, but we consider it a requirement,
in order to make sure that our visitors are doing well.
The choice of partners is important in general,
you have to have a feel for it, for what the companies stand for.
And what I felt in choosing Securitas
is that it's a Swedish company
that is established internationally,
and that's what Swedish popular music represents too.
It is Swedish... it comes originally from Sweden,
but has great international success,
so it's a cultural treasure we need to guard in the building, and preserve and refine.
And then there's the aspect of the international success.
So we could relate to it.
Then there was a good collaboration
and a positive attitude towards developing a good collaboration too,
that made us choose Securitas.
Securitas is a very well-known name,
and, since we have international visitors,
it's important that there is that connection.
If they see the brand, they know what it is.
Some of the other security companies we were talking to may be good as well,
but they don't have a well-known brand.
It makes a difference when it comes to the security aspect.
And then very early on, we felt that things clicked,
we fell in love, it worked,
and that is pretty valuable.
Securitas is that kind of signal, one you recognize...
and when it says Securitas,
visitors will understand that the building is being guarded,
and that there is safety-mindedness in our operations.
And that's important.
We are very proud and happy to join
ABBA The Museum and the Swedish Music Hall of Fame,
and make this place safer,
both for the visitors and for the customer.
