Hi this is Julie with Beadaholique.com and today I want to show you how to make really
easy beautiful earrings using a beading loop.
So what I've got here is a completed earring. You see I have Swarovski
crystals and some Miyuki seed beads.
I just placed them on the wire turned them into a earring.
But how did I get it from here where it closes
to here where you just have a straight wire, a rounded shape and a whole at an end.
Let me show you how to do this. These earrings just take
literally two minutes to make and then I'll show you how to bend up that wire.
So I'm just going to pick up a bead. It slides right onto the edge of my
beading wire there
crystal
seed bead
crystal, seed bead,
Slide this down. I've pre counted that I needed eleven of the Swarovski Crystals so I'm
just going to keep doing this until I reach eleven with a
little seed bead in between each.
See how it catches on the other end
so you can just pick these up
scoot them around. They're gonna stay put for you.
As opposed to beading hoops that already have the tip bent
this makes it a lot easier to actually get these beads on here. Let me see how many I
have. One two three four five six seven eight nine.
I need two more
of the Swarovskis.
Ten
and eleven.
Scoot those down. To make this close all you need to do is take a pair of chain nose
pliers
grip it about an 1/8 of an inch maybe even a little bit less from
the edge of your wire and just bend up.
Take that bent tip
place it into the hole on the other side
and there you have your complete earring and when you wear it of course
it's going to be like this
and that part right there is going to go through your ear.
You have a great set matched earrings and they're going to take you under five minutes to make
in total.
