Today on our 2014 Chevy Sonic we'll be test fitting the Thule Apex 4 Bike Rack part
number TH9025. We'll begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the bike rack in to
the opening of the hitch. After allowing the integrated hitch pin to fall into place we'll
then turn the black *** to engage the anti-rattle device. With the bike rack secured we'll
go over a few clearance measurements to see how the two fit together. We have about twelve
inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the bike rack to the closest part of the vehicle
is about one and a half inches away and we've added about twelve inches to the overall length
of our Sonic. We can now lift up on the grade lever at the top of the mast and swing the
cradle arms out.
