What we need to do now is attach the strap. I've already marked where I want to put the
strap and I've already marked how long I want my strap. This one is 45 inches, that fits
me really well. If you're tall or short you might want to use a little bit different length.
Just put it across your body and you know just kind of go from there on how long you
want it. So, anyways what I want to do is go find the little notch that I have made
and I want to put it right there on top. I want to make sure that I sew right where the
chalk is, not above it or below it just right across it. There you go. Okay and I have mine
taped because this kind of stuff frays just like this stuff does but a little bit easier.
So this one I just tie it in a knot to keep it from fraying. This strap you have to tape
it. But it is also flat and I want to attach it to the other side and I don't want it twisting
like this when I'm wearing it. I don't want to sew on long, so I'm just going to run my
finger along the side of it, just straighten it out. There we go. So now I know I want
to put this against the notch. Here we go, see it's all straight, it's not twisted. I'm
going to go over here and do the same thing that I did on the other side. I'm going to
sew right there on top of the chalk line. Alright, now all we have left to do is close
the purse and have it pinned, sew it and then put the button on it. So we're almost done.
