Hello and welcome to Todd's kitchen. Have you ever brought pre made cookie mix from the shops
and end up eating it before you bake it
well i have had so many requests for it the last month i could not resist it
so join me today as i make my version of edible cookie dough
To start this off into a mixing bowl place in two cups of shifted flour
followed my one cup of firmly packed brown sugar
then half a cup of white sugar
then three quarters of a cup of melted
butter
tablespoon of vanilla extract
at about four tablespoons of milk
Now if you have a stand mixer i recommend you use a dough hook to mix it
but if you don't have a stand mixer thats fine
just use a spoon and that will work just fine as well
Now just mix until you get a nice dough consistency
And thats what you should be left with a lovely lovely cookie dough
Now as a final step its up to you what you want to put in there, you can put in chocolate chips
or any type of sweets that you like. Me I'm going to use
some coloured sprinkles. Im just going to
pour some of these in
and mix it through for a few seconds
just so its well combined
So i have just shaped it and wrapped it in cling wrap.
Now place this into the fridge for a good two hours and in that two hours it should
harden up slightly and then it will be ready.
So i have just taken it out of the fridge and
and i'll tell you what, its done.
and doesn't it look fantastic and its incredibly simple and easy to make to
Now as i said you can use chocolate chips inside as well but i prefer to use the colourful ones
simply because they just look so much better
but im going to
give some of this a try right now
well that is really good
personsly i think that tastes even better then the cookie dough you buy from the shops
it's got that cookie dough consistency
plus the coloured sprinkles add a nice texture to it
it really does. And that mix of brown and white sugars
i'll tell you what
this tastes simply delicious
No obviously don't have the whole thing at once as theres a bit of sugar in there
So what you want to do is keep it in the fridge and keep it wrapped in some cling wrap
and it should last about a week in the fridge so you can just have a little bit at a time. So give this
recipe a go because i know you won't regret it. Thank you for watching this episode of Todd's kitchen.
