The Ingredients.
Milk,
sugar,
milo,
grated coconut,
barley,
cashew nuts, raisins,
ghee,
and cardamom powder.
The Procedure.
Hear ghee in a pan,
fry barley and milo and ground them into a semolina kind of flour.
Heat milk in another pan and
add the flour to milk and let it cook on minimum flame for a while.
Then add a cup of grated coconut,
sugar and little ghee to the mixture.
Finally, add cardamom powder and mix it thoroughly.
When its cooked well, add some more milk.
New year special, healthy and tasty kheer is ready to serve.
