WhatsApp Messenger just won’t go away, and finally I’ve given in and discovered that
everyone was right, it’s brill. Because it works across Blackberry, Android, iPhone
and Nokia phones, it’s only really your Windows Phone 7 friends that will be left
out. Like Skype for people that don’t sit in an office all day, it allows you to chat,
faux SMS style with your friends. But more than that, you can send pictures, videos,
audio notes, contacts, and life savingly, your location, all for free under your data
plan. This latest version also allows you to group chat, so if you’ve got a few friends
trying to arrange a night out, this will make the task 50% less horrific. There’s push
notifications for when the app is closed, and if you’re offline, they guarantee message
delivery as soon as you’re online again. You’ll find your friends who have Whats
App automatically taken from your address book and stored in favourites, and you can
invite the rest of them to join the party from within the app. So there. A lot of stuff.
It’s good. Very, very good. Get it, and then we can be Whats App friends.
