Hello there, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing. Today is Digital
Friday and I am going to share with you again my own personal case study about Once a Day
Marketing on Day 150.
My primary marketing approach for creating brand awareness for Once a Day Marketing has
been inbound marketing or social media marketing. I really wanted to create a pull from customers
rather than a hard push. I wanted to create brand recognition out there for Once a Day
Marketing which didn’t exist at the beginning of the year. I really wanted to establish
more networking opportunities and I also wanted to create lead flow and business.
Let’s take a look at the results over the last 150 days. We now have had 3,400 views
on YouTube, which is up 125% from just 75 days ago. Our video views were initially five
and then 10, now we are getting close to 60 views a day. And those are people who are
specifically seeking out branding and marketing support, so I like that targeted audience.
We now have 45 state following us and 85 countries, which is up 112% in the last 75 days. We now
have 1,225 LinkedIn followers, up 65% and 925 twitter followers, up 54%.
Also when we started this process Once a Day Marketing, James Glover, That Branding Guy,
we were nowhere to be seen on the front page of Google. Now when you search those you will
find us on page one. You can also search the 7Ps of marketing, our association with that
concept is getting us on page one. And our themes such as Smart Monday, Strategic Tuesday
also are surfacing on the front page of Google as well as many of the other search engines
out there.
I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the results of our social media inbound
marketing campaign over the last 150 days. Now, we’ve put in a lot of time developing
our brand using these tools. Probably close to 400 hours. So, you need to devote the resources,
we’ve talked about that before, whether it be money or in this case time. But it does
deliver results and if you are thinking about social media and you’re committed I highly
recommend it.
