Hi, I'm Olga and I'm going to show you how easy it is
to convert a QuarXPress document to InDesign with the latest Q2ID
from Markzware.
First, we go to the location of the document and open it
to see how it looks in its original form.
So, this is how the QuarkXPress document looks. We will open it again later
to see how accurate the conversion process really is.
Now, let's open Adobe InDesign.
Keep in mind that Q2ID works in CS3 and CS4.
As you can see, there's a Markzware pull-down menu that is added to the
menu bar,
which brings you straight to the Q2ID functionality.
It automatically rebuilds everything for you, the entire layout,
with font styles, images, the works.
As you can see, this tool can save you lots of time and, thus, money.
Now, let's compare the original Quark project
with the Q2ID-converted InDesign document.
The conversion is amazingly complete,
although, there will usually be a little touching up to do.
One last tip,
check out the Testimonials sections on our YouTube channel.
Watch and listen to what other experts in the graphic design and prepress trade
have to say about Markzware's Q2ID.
