Hi all. This is Tom Clancy's The Division by Ubisoft.
Now this is a game which when first revealed
gave me all kind of tingles but
after the disaster of Watch Dogs in comparison to its 2012 reveal
I have to say big bucket of cold water poured on top of The Division.
Now at least we're now seeing actual gameplay.
Ubisoft haven't been completely stupid and decided oh let's just show some
pre-cut footage again. We can actually now see this game
as it will play. We can see the co-op aspects in effect
and I have to say my faith has been restored.
The game is looking gorgeous, the game mechanics are
really interesting to look at and I'm really interested to see how this one
hangs together when it's released.
Overall, it's beautiful looking and do you notice anything specific here?
Doesn't it look like Watch Dogs was promised to be?
But we never saw Watch Dogs playing like that. Something tells me we are dealing
with a very similar
engine here and ultimately Watch Dogs was a game that was targeted for last
generation. Simple as that and this is a game
targeting next generation and so they can actually deliver on the promise of those
graphics.
I love everything about what they're kind of doing here. The story concept is
fantastically well thought-out
but everything with Ubisoft now really comes down to that
final execution. Can they deliver on the promise or are we going to be sold yet
another
lemon by Ubisoft?
