What are you going to cook? Pesarattu Mukkala Curry
Ingredients required to make Pesarattu Mukkala Curry
Green Gram, Green Chillies, Tomatoes, Onions, Garlic, Mustard Seeds, Cumin, Coriander Seeds Powder, Coriander, Curry Leaves, Salt, Chilli Powder, Turmeric, Oil
Heat up a flat pan
Soak the green gram overnight in water. Then, grind it with green chillies, garlic paste & salt into a thick paste
Spread the pesarattu batter/paste on the hot pan
Pour some oil on the sides of the pesarattu
Once the bottom is cooked, flip the pesarattu over
Take the thick pesarattu aside
Now, take a pan/pot and heat some oil (4 spoons)
Add some mustard & cumin seeds
Add a cup of finely chopped onions
Add some ginger-garlic paste
Add a pinch of turmeric powder
Add a cup of chopped tomatoes
Add salt as required
Add 1/2 tbsp of red chilli powder
Cut the pesarattu into small square pieces
Add the pesarattu pieces (mukkalu) into the pan
Add some coriander seeds powder
Add some coriander leaves
Once cooked, turn off the stove
Take the Pesarattu Mukkala Curry into a serving bowl
Garnish with some curry & coriander leaves
