Parked next to Sneaky Dee's, the parking superintendent wakes us up.
He wanted us to give him $52 ...
Impossible!
Dom managed to deal for $34.
Since we paid for the day, we decide to stay there and
have breakfast at Sneaky Dee's.
For $3.25 it's a bargain!
Eggs, ham, potatoes. We're ready to go
and spend the day at the Ace of Spades.
Around noon, we invaded the tattoo studio on College Street.
This is Hugo Mudie's famous face that will be inked into our skin.
We snap a picture with the tattoo artist
and get going.
We're looking for another spot to park the van.
A little later, we finally found a parking space in an alley in the Kensington Market.
Sitting in Martine, we eat soup cans and cereal bars.
Not to forget the pepper!
Then, van party and we'reheaded to College Street
where we'll find something to do.
Right out of the alley, there is a bar: Thirsty and Miserable.
RALPH: Thirsty and miserable!
DOM: It fits us well!
NARRATOR: The plan for the evening instantly changes!
We'll stop in every bar we come across and drink a beer.
But not everyone a beer, a beer for seven!
DOM: Jimi Hendrix is here!
After 5 or 6 bars, we arrive at a sushi restaurant where an ounce of sake is 89¢.
Ralph orders 7 ounces and the waiter offers to have a karaoke party while we wait.
We start the show and asked if we could have free food.
He said no,
but that we could have free drinks.
He comes back with 7 tallboys. We quickly drink them to continue our journey.
In a maze of alleys, we try to return to the van to get
batteries and memory cards for Sacha, documentarist.
In a cul de sac closed by barbed wire, we hear footsteps behind us
and then ...
"Who's gonna pay for that?!"
"WHO'S GONNA PAY FOR THAT?!"
The waiter followed us and wants us to pay for the beers he offered earlier.
We argue with him and explain that the beer was free.
DOM: I asked, "Could we have food?"
and he said "No, just beer."
To end the argument, Ralph finally hands him the money.
Frustrated, we continue our way to the parking lot.
Returning, we stop at 7-Eleven for a quick bite.
Taquitos! Hugo is delighted and we continue our momentum.
Past a pizza restaurant, we see the guy who ripped us off.
He laughs and mocks us.
After saying a few F-words, we continue our mission.
From bar to bar, we promoted Friday's show at Bovine Sex Club.
We finally arrive at Mullins Pub where Sophie finishes her shift.
We explain the concept of our night and she serves us our beer.
20 bars in a single night.
Still 2 bars to go and only 20 minutes before they close.
We arrive at 1:53 at Wild Indigo.
We decided to have a beer each because this is going to be the last bar of
our epic night.
Around 2:45, we leave the bar and Hugo tries his best to get to
the parking lot without vomiting.
Everyone stumbles and try somehow to return to the van.
HUGO: 20 bars in a single night.
College Street.
Incredible.
We broke records. It was cheap.
One beer per bar.
7 on a beer. Super! Good night.
