ANCHOR>>:A student with an inspiring story was one of the exhibitors at Imagine RIT.
Lauren Aggen signed copies of her book "Austin's Gift."
She wrote it to encourage others to become organ donors.
Then Aggen put on some makeup and hit the stage, for RIT's National Technical Institute for the Deaf's presentation of Guys and Dolls.
When she was just a baby Aggen was given a new heart.
The donor was a boy in Austin Texas who died from sudden infant death syndrome.
Aggen lost her hearing and takes 32 pills a day to keep her body from rejecting her heart.
We caught up with her in character as Miss Adalaide.
I don't think everyone realizes what I've been through but everyone has challenges.
But I truly feel like I was meant to write this book.
It has a look good messages and I really hope that people will enjoy reading the book.
Aggen has been trying to track down her donor family.
The book and its title are a tribute to them. 0:00:58.160,0:00103.160 If you want to see "Guys and Dolls" at NTID it wraps up with a matinee show Sunday at 2 p.m.
