(so you guys are the Three Little Pigs)
(but I am not wolf, so I am not going to huff and puff and blow your house down)
(but if it storms, you guys are kind of out of luck)
(you have to be nice, you guys are nice in the stories)
This is the three little pigs exhibit. It is the only named exhibit in the zoo.
I felt this exhibit was treated differently than the rest. There were more unique elements
in its design, such as their little house, their number, which was exactly 3. Even their
sizes seem to have been picked to match the story.
If I had to guess, a child was involved in the creation of this exhibit. I think the
child had a fixation with pigs and really liked the story.
I personally liked that exhibit, but I felt the others could've used a personal touch
as well.
It was rainy day, well, it started to rain when we were leaving the zoo.
A family had just arrived with their three little kids. I remember it well since we were
dashing for the exit door, and they were running the opposite direction.
A family of five, dashing around the dirt of that zoo. From what I remember, there was
nothing paved, and it was raining heavily. They were heading towards the exhibits in
the back where you had to go down a dirt path.
Well, I say dirt, but it was more like mud with all that rain.
As they rushed to see the ponies and llamas, they skipped the pigs.
Or maybe they didn't want to around them, if their children started to slip and slide
in the mud it may have been difficult to distinguish them.
One important aspect of this exhibit was their upkeep. In the other zoos I visited, the pigs
were dirty and foul smelling. Not saying that those ones were exactly clean, but they were
not smelly.
Maybe the rain had something to do with it. I would think, however, that it would have
the opposite effect.
It could have been their general upkeeping. Which must have been stellar. Or least better
than the other places.
