After the base is on I've taken a bunch of two-ply tissues and pulled them apart so it's
just one-ply like this. You want to do that with a number of tissues and set them aside.
Now I'm going to take clear latex. This is also a Ben Nye product, but there are several
other companies that make liquid latex. This one comes with a little nail polish brush.
I am going to paint his face with the latex and then stick the tissue on top.
So I'll just start over here. This doesn't have to be perfect because we want it to deteriorate.
We want this makeup to actually deteriorate. You have to work kind of fast because you
don't want it to dry all the way before you stick the tissue on.
So, I'm just going to put the tissue right on and then kind of pull away the parts that
aren't sticking. I'm just going to repeat this all over his face.
Latex has a little bit of a gnarly smell, and it doesn't feel super good around the
eyes. So just be careful around that area, or avoid it altogether. I'm just doing a really
thin layer, then putting that tissue on until it sticks, then tearing it off.
These square edges you can just rip so that they're uneven. We don't want any perfect
shapes really.
Okay. So, we're going to do the entire face with the latex, just patting that in there.
Work as quick as you possibly can so the latex doesn't dry on you. Again, I'm going to avoid
this eye area. I'm also going to avoid any hair like his eyebrows.
