Now I've sewed our back to our front, leaving the opening on the bottom. Before you turn
it, you want to kind of cut the bulkiness out of the corners, so you just cut an angle
across the corner without cutting the stitching. So you want to do that to your four corners,
just cut straight across like that, a forty-five degree angle across the corners, and cutting
out some of that bulky stuff. And then we'll turn the whole mat inside out, or right side
out, and we'll finish the bottom. So you just want to pull everything out, and poke out
the corners, get your finger into the corner, and give that a good poke, find all four corners.
And then to finish the mat, you want to just fold in this bottom layer. Now you can press
it with an iron if you want, or you can just fold it over like this, pin it in place, and
then we'll sew that closed, we'll top stitch it. And just start all the way on the end,
even the part that we've already sewn. So you want to sew very close, we're attaching
these two ends to close it. When you come to the thick sections remember to go very
slowly, and you may have to proceed just turning the hand wheel by hand to avoid breaking any
needles. And continue all the way to the other side.
