Good evening, my name is Richard
Here in Front-end Check In, Malaysia Airlines KLIA
I oversee the operational side for our Front-end Check In passengers
Mainly our Enrich Platinum, the First Class and our Business Class passengers
I join as cabin crew in February 1990
And then, I was presented with this opportunity one and half years back
Come February 1st which is hardly 2 months from now
We've to be alongside those big airlines like Qantas, British Airways and American Airlines.
Joining oneworld is definitely one of the key highlights that fortcoming in next 2 month from now
I'm Nor Zalida Ahmad, I do Strategic Comms at Malaysia Airlines group
It's great time to be in the airline industry now
Because it's really exciting. A lot of things happening.
We're going to London. Now is decision time.
For us, to hear from the oneworld - whether we're able to join formally or not, whether we're ready.
We often get asked, whether we fly to this destination or that destination
With oneworld, Malaysia Airlines will be able to tell our passengers, our guests.
Yeah! We can get you there. With our connectivity with our member airlines.
So, that's going to be great for Malaysia Airlines guests
Jumpa lagi, all the best!
Looking forward to this meeting.
We gonna show oneworld what we can do.
Brought the first A380 home from Toulouse
I think obviously, we all very excited.
Because, I think the market will be surprised
It's very pleasant aircarft, very comfortable aircraft
When we saw what the 3rd quarter was, I must say that.
The 20,000 staff is actually right now pulling the effort together
To show what, what we all can do
The industry is exciting, dynamic, changes everday
And I think every airline will have to face up to this reality
We'll fly more and we'll work more with our partners as well
So, by adding both - we hope to do a lot more
The market obviously is going to be very challenging next year
Because the economic indicator shows the world hasn't fully recover yet - the world economy.
Nonetheless, I think people still travel
And that's a good news for the industry
Which we have to make sure we catch our share of the market
