I've got half of my ingredients ready for the tomatillo salsa, and now we're ready to
get it in the boiling water. We're going to place it in the boiling water for about 5-7
minutes. You don't have to boil it for that long. Just enough to kind of soften everything
up and get the flavors going in the water. I'm going to be really careful to not just
dump everything in here because this water is boiling and it will jump up and splash
me if I do just drop in there. I'm going to be very careful. Perfect. I got everything in there. Like I
said, we're just going to let that go for about 5-7 minutes. Meanwhile, it looks like
my chicken over here is done and ready to go. I'm going to go ahead and pull it out
and I'm going to let it cool. The reason you want to let it cool is because if you try
and shred it now you're going to burn yourself because the chicken is going to be very very
hot. We'll pull this out and let it cool. Another note is now you've got this great
little sauce left in the pan that's got all kind of chicken flavor. Save that sauce. It'll
be really good for a soup later or another kind of sauce. Make sure you save that. That's
really good flavor.
