Hey! Olivia here for Southtree.com 8mm film was first developed in the Great
Depression by Eastman Kodak Company, and ushered in the beginning of affordable home movie
creation. These films can be spooled on small 3 inch
reels, or can be combined onto large 5 and 7 inch reels.
Here's how you know that you have an 8mm film: If you carefully unwind the film, you can
see tiny video frames that measure exactly 8mm wide, or the width of this pencil.
Old film recordings hold a treasure of important frames that need to be seen again.
Southtree.com is here to preserve and relive all those moments.
