Hi I'm Rachel Dayan for Expert Village now what we do is boil the chickpeas getting them
ready soft and nice before we grind them. I just wanted to mention you have to change
the water you don't use the same water that they soaked in, we're changing the water,
we checking them as we mention before because the skin is now the peel now is very thin
and you can see for bugs. So we check the peas, the chickpeas and we change the water
and we put them for a boil. I wanted to mention that the boiling to you should have enough
water, you should have enough water during the cooking time cause the cooking time takes
between an 1 1/2 to 2 hours, the chickpeas are going to absorb a lot of water again,
plus the water is going to evaporate during cooking so in the long cooking it's an 1 1/2
to 2 hours. Like I mentioned before so make sure you have enough water, now the chickpeas
has been boiling for about 1 1/2 and we're going to do a little test to check if there
ready, or if we need to continue to boiling them. We take a fork and we try to put it
inside one of the chickpeas, if the fork goes right in, that means there soft and we're
able be able to grind them.
