I see people with a tub and that space between the tub and the tile, that's where caulking
normally goes to. And I always see that these spots tend to be neglected, so what I'd recommend
is a rubberized silicone between the tile and the tub. But here is the key, you want
to be able to clean all that stuff out, all the old stuff clean it out with a razor knife,
wipe it all down make sure it's absolutely, positively clean. Then fill the tub with water,
now you putting maximum weight inside the tub, holding it down. Then, you apply the
beaded caulk all the way around the tub, between the tile and the top of the tub, let that
setup, drain the tub, you probably never have to do it again. You know it's one of the most
popular things the toilet turns into a rocking horse, people say you know my toilet's been
rocking for years, that's not normal, it should be permanently and absolutely, tied down to
the floor so it doesn't move at all. If you floor is moving, it's probably that the floor
is rotted out cause the toilet had been rocking so for long and leaking and the floor rotted.
So, if your toilet is rocking back and forth, the first thing you want to try to do is reset
it and re-wax, but if it does rock around, you want to make sure that the floor, the
integrity of the floor is good and make sure that it's not molded, falling apart and all
that stuff.
