5 Keys to creating your company brochure.
Today I'd like to talk with you about five things to include when putting together your
new brochure for your company or maybe one that you need to revamp.
Number One: Tell who you are.
Give a brief history that includes your company's values.
Perhaps it'll be your mission statement.
How you are involved in the community or organizations you belong to.
Number Two: Tell what you do as a company.
Perhaps you're in the landscaping business, a plumber, or sales training. Be sure and
be clear and point out the products and services you provide.
Number Three: Explain why someone should do business with you.
This is where you put in the benefits that buyers will enjoy.
Things like: No hassle guarantee
The number of locations you have for convenience A longer warranty than the competition
Talk about how well trained your personnel are
Anything that makes you stand out, and helps the buyer make a positive decision.
Number Four: Share testimonials of satisfied customers.
Testimonials, according to most researchers, rank number two, as the main reason someone
would buy from you.
Number Five: How do I connect with you?
I like what I've read -- I think you have a good message -- so what's the next step?
If you want me to come by your store be sure to give me a map with clear directions and
your address.
Naturally you'll want your phone number.
Adding your e-mail address and website address makes sense.
And then with the advent of QR codes, putting that on your brochure will help someone with
a smartphone scan your QR code, and it will take them directly to your website where they
can continue the conversation, and gain more valuable information.
To Recap:
1. Tell who you are. 2. Tell what you do.
3. Explain why someone should select you over the competition.
4. Add testimonials. 5. And make sure they know how to contact
you.
