If you have a machine that's really not working right, or you can't find that tone, or even
if it's not pushing hard, if it's not pushing the needle into the skin as hard as you want
and you want to make it hit a little bit harder, you can adjust the spring tension on it. Basically
what you're going to do is, you're going to loosen the back screw and you're going to
pin it it to the side. To give it more tension, I push up, or if you want to lessen the tension,
push down. Put it back basically so it's lined up with the binding posts and tighten it back
down. You can always feel it, when you push the armature bar down. You can feel the tension,
whether it's hard or soft. Fantastic. That actually has a little bit more tension on
it, so it's going to hit a little bit harder. So, it pushes that needle deeper into the
skin a little bit harder. You might have a more crisp line that way. There you go.
