Maybe you don't have a sweetie to celebrate Valentine's Day with this year, but don't
let that stop you from enjoying the day. Why not give back this Valentine's Day by volunteering?
There are plenty of independent living facilities or even managed care facilities that would
love to have you volunteer. I like to call the bingo numbers at the independent living
facilities on Monday nights and I have gotten to know a lot of the women there and they
are so lovely. And you meet a lot of interesting people and find out about their fascinating
lives. And if that's not your thing, you can try voluntourism,. I didn't pronounce it wrong,
it's called voluntourism, and it's a new phase in volunteering where people are giving back
their time and combining it with their vacation. You can go to voluntourism.com and find vacations
where you can go and teach in a school with underprivileged children for 3 or 4 days or
maybe help to build houses in a village for 3 or 4 days and then you combine that with
staying 5 days in a 5 star hotel and living the high life. Voluntourism,. Try it this
Valentine's Day.
