X
OK, not perfect. The X is a two story letter. It's bilaterly symmetrical. It needs to be
weighted on the bottom for that sense of stasis, and therefore, you're going to try to aim
so that the very center point of this X is slightly above that perfect geometric center.
So it's as if, you know, you've got a waist band in the right place. If, if you draw this
letter perfectly, which I think I've done a little bit better in this sample, you're
going to have these lines, this line come down so that it's slightly inside where this
line, this ends up, and it's going to symmetrical, so the same thing is going to happen on this
side. If I were to take a vertical line and draw it down here, this comes out just a little
bit further. So, two story letter, and what have we got for X. Oh, this a beautiful word,
expressiveness. Alright, we're, with our Roman capital alphabet, we're expressing tremendous
discipline, dignity, simplicity, all of these beautiful things, but you can get very expressive
with letters. You can get as expressive with letters as you can with acting, as you can
with dancing, as you can with the English language itself. So expressiveness is something
that you, that you gain the ability for the more skilled you become, and the more fun
you have with it. Expressiveness.
