In this clip we'll talk about how many daily hours a convention should be. In general,
if you're running a convention from Friday to Sunday, which most conventions do run now,
your big day is going to be Saturday. So what you're looking to do is have probably about
a half a day Saturday, starting somewhere in the afternoon maybe one, or two or three
o'clock in the afternoon and run until maybe even midnight or one o'clock in the morning.
Saturday being your big day is going to be when you start early. So you'll probably want
to start your registration at ten o'clock. You'll probably want to start your events
right around ten o'clock. That should probably run twelve to fourteen hours. So schedule
wisely. And we'll talk about that in a little bit. And then Sunday you'll want to start
early as well. Open your registration early, maybe ten o'clock. You might want to run until
three or four or five o'clock in the evening. But don't run too late because you do want
people to get an opportunity to take advantage of it and certainly you want to close down
before the crowd starts thinning out because of work on Monday morning, school on Monday
morning. So generally three o'clock perhaps on Friday to about five o'clock on Sunday.
