hi I'm Rachel. I'm here today to show you how to make
a single pattern rubber band bracelet without using a loom
to get started today
you'll need just a few key supplies first you'll need
rubber bands I chose white and teal second you'll need
c clips or jump rings and finally you'll need a crochet hook
I chose size g
if you're going to use the jump rings make sure you also have several pairs of
pliers for later use to begin
to begin you'll need a teal rubber band and a jump ring
push the rubber band through jump ring and hold it in half
next you'll pick up your crochet hook slide it through both loops that you just made
pick up a white rubber band get hook it onto the end
of the crochet hook and pull through
go ahead and pick up the other end of the white rubber band
pick up a teal rubber band
you're going to do alternating colors bring it through the two loops
pick up the other end and continue this process
until you reach whatever length you'd like
I finished my bracelets so that it's around six inches long. At this point you're going
to want to leave the
end of the bracelet on the crochet hook to use as a place holder
set it down pick up a couple pairs a pliers
I'm using long nose and round nose pliers and find the ends
of your jump ring. And open your jump ring by twisting the
ends away from each other. I'm using an 18mm gauge jump ring
for extra security Go ahead
and slide the white rubber bands off of the crochet hook and onto the jump ring
and close the jump ring
that's how fun easy it is to make a single pattern
rubber band bracelet out using a loom thanks so much for watching
stop by again soon
