Everybody's talking about saving the environment. We're doing something about it.
CPK Automotive -- your expert partner for the after treatment of engine exhaust gases.
The DynTest System guarantees accurate electronic controlling and monitoring of the components
involved in the treatment of exhaust gases. And that helps protect our natural resources.
It provides a comprehensive solution for heavy diesel engines. What's more, it will work
with any make of vehicle, and any type of exhaust system.
As well as helping you reduce your running costs, CPK's control systems make an active
contribution to the protection of the environment. The DynTest System delivers efficiency at
an attractive price. Diesel particulate filters are highly effective,
but they have one drawback: ... ... the more soot particles they filter out,
the more clogged they become. Build-ups of backpressure can damage the vehicle
engine and the filter. Swift countermeasures are required to prevent
the occurrence of such damage. The DynTest sensor generates an alarm when
the backpressure in the filter reaches a critical level. An alarm will also be generated when
certain preset parameters are met. The driver (or the person operating the engine) is notified
via a display when a critical state is reached. The sensor generates both an acoustic and
an optical alarm. If required, the RemCo Data Transmission Module
can be used to pass on the alarm signal via a mobile telecommunications network. That
means the alarm can be relayed to the Technical Services Department of the company operating
the vehicles. Depending on the system settings, the alarm message will appear on a screen
or on the display of a mobile phone. In addition, the measurement and alarm data
recorded are uploaded to an internet site. If desired, they can be accessed directly
via direct dial-up or mobile phone. Information about the location of the vehicle and the
hours of engine operation can also be retrieved. The following modules can be integrated in
/ added to any DynTest system. CPK's active and passive regeneration systems
are designed to cope with a variety of scenarios.
The LiquiCat Add-On Module, for example, guarantees the precise and correct dosing of additives.
The temperature at which diesel particles ignite can be reduced from 650°C to 350°C
by means of an additive, which is mixed with the diesel fuel.
If this initial temperature is maintained for 1 to 2 minutes, the regeneration process
will take place automatically. The reduction in the ignition temperature will bring about
almost complete combustion of the soot particles trapped in the filter.
The CATFire Module actively raises the temperature of the exhaust gases.
example, the temperature of the exhaust gases generated by municipal buses, rubbish collection
vehicles and forklift trucks are seldom as high as they should ideally be.
If the CATFire Module is used in vehicles of these types,(komplett löschen) atomized
diesel fuel is injected into the stream of exhaust gas, which then mixes with the combustion
gases, and is subsequently oxidized by a heat-up catalyst.
The increase in temperature causes the soot particles to be completely combusted.
Like the CatFire, the RegFire Module actively increases the temperature of the exhaust gases.
However, in the case of the RegFire, the temperature increase is brought about not through the
catalysed oxidation of the diesel fuel, but by combustion.
In operating conditions where extremely low temperatures may be encountered, the RegFire
Modules can be installed without any problem. Further components for the DynTest System
are available in the form of the ReCIRC and the RedNOx systems, which were designed as
add-on modules for the denitrification of exhaust gases.
By means of these devices, quantities of the "cleaned" exhaust gases can be recirculated
to aid the combustion process. This reduces levels of health-threatening nitrogen oxides.
Emissions of nitrogen oxides can be significantly reduced by means of this procedure.
We are always interested in working together with respected scientific institutions. It
is our aim to develop products that help preserve the earth's finite natural resources.
