This collar is for a double-breasted jacket. It's called a double-breasted notched collar.
What that means is that the double-breasted part, one side, two, oh, my hand can't write
a two upside down, two sides, double and then the notch comes in right here. Your collar,
for the notched collar needs to have a triangular notch taken out of it. This you see on a lot
of jackets, like a, a sailor, a pea coat, a trench coat, stuff like that or if your
suit jacket is meant to be worn closed, if that's the look that you're going for. This,
we want to start out by drawing it, showing it goes around the neck and then the start
of the collar from the shoulder line goes straight. Then you angle it in, and then you
come back and that's when you draw the second part of the lapel. And that goes like that.
Then you go over to the point at which the coat folds, like this would be where your
buttons are. You go over to that point and then you make your lapel however you, obviously
not that triangular unless that the look you're going for, but there you go.
