My dream is to become a bilingual preschool teacher.
I would really like to make a difference in the little lives
of Hispanic children who are having difficulty grasping the
English language.
I chose Hancock because I heard really good things
about the lab.
In the classroom you learn more the theory
and in the classroom you actually apply the theory.
They really give you an opportunity to have hands
on experience that you can learn from your mistakes.
You always have somebody there, and instructor or mentor there
who can point out "Look next time we can do this a
little better."
The instructors at the college are more like mentors
and they really try to help you succeed
in your career and in my goals.
They are always there for me.
I really like the lab.
It's so nice to be able to apply for a job and say
that you have had experience.
This is my second career I'm going back to school
as an adult, but going back to school
to Hancock College really taught me that anybody can start here.
