AUDREY SIEGEL: One of things I'm really looking forward to
in 2010 and probably early in 2011 is the e-reader.
I think that this is going to change the way that consumers
consume content for lack of a better word.
I always hate when I put the same word twice in a sentence.
But I think that the opportunity to do what people
like, which is to read--
I said before that consumers like video.
They also like content.
They like printed matter.
But they, again, want it where they want it and in a format
that is now really kind of become de rigueur.
So I want a touch screen.
I want to be able to make it bigger.
I want to be able to go deeper and have more information.
And some of the prototypes I've seen of publishing
content on the e-reader platform, as we envision it
for the next six to 12 months, is fabulous.
I think that it's going to be tremendously exciting for the
consumer and then for the advertiser.
I think the consumer has to lead it.
Because we have to make sure that it is meaningful to them.
It's not a Kindle.
It is not a place to just read a book.
Because that, while it's a great consumer opportunity, is
not necessarily a great marketing opportunity.
And again we always have to remember what
we're here to do.
We're here to market.
We're here to sell product or a good or a service.
And we have to find the ways to bring
those two things together.
So I think the e-reader is going to be fabulous.
