I've been practising during the last couple of weeks...
for a performance with five lads from Great Britain.
They have recorded wonderful christmas songs...
and I guess even the Queen sometimes listens to them underneath her christmas tree.
Because the lads were invited to sing at the the Queen's Diamond Jubilee...
and even at the Olympic Games.
(They're great! :D) and even at the Olympic Games.
and even at the Olympic Games.
Ladies and gentlemen, now sharing a platform with the German "Television Ballet"...
The Overtones!
The German "Television Ballet" in a choreography by Alexandra Post...
and The Overtones~!
Frohe Weihnacht! / Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to you, too!
And now, ladies and gentlemen,...
we'd like to pass on the light of peace we received at tonight's advent show; together with all our prominent guests...
until at least 100.000 lights have been set alight.
Like this, the message of christmas peace shall be passed on...
and we shall be reminded of the deep meaning of our christmas celebrations.
You, too, can bring the peace light into your home.
You'll be able to obtain the ORF-peace light in Austria's ORF-studios on the 24th of December...
at all staffed train stations and at the offices of the "Red Cross".
In Germany, especially the pathfinders commit themselves to the distribution.
The peace light can also be picked up at many curches on Christmas Eve...
and on the internet you can look up where else it's being distributed.
The adresses are now displayed.
Back then, a child was born in the middle of the night Da wurde mitten in der Nacht ein Kind geboren
Back then, all of a sudden, the sky wasn't remote anymore Da war mit einem Mal der Himmel nicht mehr fern
Back then, a choir of angels was singing: "The world isn't lost." Da sang ein Engelschor: "Die Welt ist nicht verloren."
And above all this, the Christmas star was sparkling radiantly. Und über allem strahlte hell der Weihnachtsstern
Back then, you and I were given a new light Da wurde dir und mir ein neues Licht gegeben
That would be able to warm up our hearts again continually. Das unsere Herzen immer neu erwärmen kann
And when it gets dark for us in this life Und wenn es dunkel wird für uns in diesem Leben
It will start burning with all its might. Fängt es mit seiner ganzen Kraft zu leuchten an.
Are you an adult or still a child? Bist du erwachsen oder noch klein?
That shouldn't be important tonight. Das dürfte heute Abend gar nicht wichtig sein
Aren't we all a human child? Sind wir nicht alle ein Menschenkind?
No matter when we're born? Wann immer wir geboren sind?
Are you a boy or a man? Bist du ein Junge oder ein Mann?
Wasn't every woman once a girl? War jede Frau nicht auch ein Mädchen irgendwann?
What keeps us together for all time Was uns für immer zusammen hält
So many people on this earth are feeling it right now Das fühlen jetzt so viele Menschen auf der Welt.

Ladies and gentlemen, at this point I'd like to thank you, the viewers, for your loyalty.
Many thanks for joining our winter, summer, spring, fall and advent celebrations again in 2013.
Many, many thanks to you!
Of course, I hope you'll also join us next year.
If you want to, we can see us again in January...
when we're celebrating our great festival of the best.
We'll roll out the red carpet for the stars of the year like
Helene Fischer, Andreas Gabalier, Beatrice Egli and many, many more.
All that's left to say now is that we all wish you a pleasant Advent.
A lovely Christmas time and the Christmas festival you imagined.
And that the light of peace shall shine into your home.
Please stay or get healthy...
and I remain wholehearted, your Florian Silbereisen.
Thank you and goodbye!
