There you are my NukeNorway brothas and sistas! Where have you been? Oh wait, where have I
been?
Uuh, nevermind. Anyway this week we have the top 5 zombie films. The best of the best of
the living/walking dead. Now only one rule for this list - I'm ONLY going to list zombie
movies made in the last 30 years. Cause otherwise, everyone is just gonna be like- "Well Night
of the Living Dead is number one. It has to be. They invented zombies." Well this is true,
but what's the point of making a top list if everyone already knows what the number
one movie is? So ONLY zombie movies made in the last 30 years in this list.
Aight, let's get down to some zombie movies.
First up at #5 on our best zombie movie list, it's World War Z. The scope of this movie
was amazing and it was cool to finally see a zombie movie made with millions of dollars
worth of special effects.
In World War Z , you've got those crazy fast zombie swarms all using their heads like friggin
battering rams. You've got the hordes of zombie-peoples climbing over each other and parkouring across
roofs to reach their prey, and you've got just a general shitload of fast-paced zombie
action. All this combined earns World War Z a spot at #5.
Next at #4 on our best zombie movie list, it's Shaun of the Dead. Shaun of the Dead
is really more of a great comedy movie with just a ***-ton of zombies thrown in.
Even if you're not a fan of this film, you still have to appreciate any movie where the
heroes try to fight back against the zombies by frisbee-styling records at their head,
and even take a quick pause for a zombie-fight snapshot.
At #3 on our best zombie movies list, it's Zombieland. Zombieland provided a great mix
of humor with some pretty tense zombie skull-bashing scenes.
In Zombieland you've got that dude from the Facebook movie... um, yeah him. You've also
got *** Harrelson as the ultimate redneck zombie ***-kicker. And if that wasn't enough-
you've got zombie Bill Murray... well SORTA zombie Bill Murray.
All around, Zombieland is a great movie.
At #2 on our best zombie movies list, it's "Return of the Living Dead". Now wait a minute-
hang on before you get all "What the hell ***? Why is that #2?" on me.
Return of the Living Dead is without a doubt THE most underrated zombie movie of all time.
#1-Return of the Living Dead was the FIRST zombie movie to EVER have fast zombies. (And
I loves me some fast zombies) #2 Return of the Living Dead was also the first movie to
ever have semi-intelligent talking zombies. And #3 and maybe most importantly, Return
of the Living Dead invented the idea of zombies that want to eat brains. THIS movie is where
the zombie chant "BRAINS!" came from.
That's right, this movie invented that ***.
Now besides all the great zombie innovation in this movie, Return of the Living Dead is
also a VERY enjoyable kick-*** horror comedy. And it's still is a great watch even 28 years
after its release. So THAT is why it's #2.
And finally at #1 on the best zombie movies list - it's the 2004 remake of Dawn of the
Dead. This movie may be one of the only remakes ever made that's better than the original.
Yep I said it. I think the Dawn of the Dead remake is actually better than the original.
Please be gentle with your flames.
The new Dawn of the Dead features an incredible cast, including Ving Rames... playing that
same character-dude that Ving Rames always plays. And the movie also features Modern
Family's Ty Burrel, playing the most awesome post apocalyptic smartass that's ever been
in a zombie movie. All this combined with great special effects
and tense fast-paced action make the Dawn of the Dead remake the #1 pick for best zombie
movie of the last 30 years.
Okay my Nuke Norway peoples, if I left out some zombie movie that YOU like from the last
30 years, let me know about it in the comments below. I wanna hear from YOU.
Anyway, if you liked the video, please don't forget to hit the thumbs up button and also
check out the NukeNorway Facebook page at facebook.com/nukenorway for a couple more
great zombie movies that didn't quite make the top 5.
So, I'll see all you nice guys and girls next time. Love you Youtube peoples and thanks
for watching.
